New Castle, DE -- Lékué, the Spanish manufacturer of creative, colorful kitchen products, has formed a United States subsidiary, Lékué USA, that will make its debut at the ABC Expo next month. Based in New Castle, Delaware, Lékué (pronounced Lay-Kway) USA brings to the United States retailer and consumer a collection of more than 40 serious, yet playful, products.
Lékué, a Catalonian company, has been creating stylish home products that are functional, fun and high quality for more than a decade. The simple, thoughtful shapes and styles offer an opportunity for families to cook and bake together while helping children expand their fine motor skills. The initial collection includes the baguette buddy, sandwich buddy, molds for Christmas, Valentines, Halloween and birthdays, molds for lollipops, cupcakes, ice cream treats and cookies as well as cooking tools.
"We are thrilled to debut a United States subsidiary to offer our culinary products in a comprehensive way to American families and to support American retailers," said Xavier Costa, Director of Lékué. "The USA collection is designed to be fun and adventurous, to help families celebrate life's greatest moments, such as a three-year-old's birthday party, a preschooler's first attempt at making cookies and a kindergarten's first day of school."
"We are extremely happy to announce the formation and start-up of Lékué USA for the Fall selling season," said Alan Senior, general manager of the Lékué USA subsidiary. "Over the past five years, Lékué has focused on developing an innovative range of children's silicone culinary products that are easy and fun to use. Their themes of healthy eating and cooking resonate with parents and children, as there is a much greater desire to cook and eat healthy foods. They are an exciting company that brings a lot of energy to the market-place."
this product looks amazing. I'm looking forward to trying that cheesecake pan along with so many of the other products. I wonder if it will work in a water bath?! I have a silicone 8 inch cake pan and with no spraying, that cake always just pops out! This company has taken silicone to new lengths and fun shapes. Bravo!
