Toy Association Ramps Up Presence at Licensing Expo

LIMANEW YORK, NY -- Helping to spread cross-industry awareness about The Toy Association’s new name and recent rebranding, the association will elevate its presence at this year’s Licensing Expo, taking place May 23-25 in Las Vegas.

The Association will sponsor the Licensing Expo opening night party at the Tropicana Hotel and the International Licensing Awards 2017 at Mandalay Bay, which will honor global licensors, licensees, agents and retailers.

Concurrently, the Licensing Industry Merchandisers Association (LIMA) members’ lounge will once again be open to all members of The Toy Association attending the Expo, offering them the ability to network, hold brief meetings and unwind throughout the show. Located at booth #A97, the lounge will be open May 23-24 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and May 25 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The room will be open exclusively to LIMA and Toy Association members.

“With licensed toys continuing to capture roughly 30 percent of total U.S. toy sales, we are honored to support our great friends and colleagues at LIMA and the entire licensing community at the Licensing Expo, as we continually find ways to help our many shared members connect and grow their businesses,” says Steve Pasierb, president & chief executive at The Toy Association.
