Northeast Market Center Cuts the Ribbon on a New Beginning

Hudson, MA - Showroom principals and exhibitors gathered to cut the ribbon and officially open the Northeast Market Center at its new home in Hudson, MA. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Sunday, September 11, to mark not only the official opening of the showroom building, but also its grand opening show. Judy Heller, president of the Center's tenant association, wielded the scissors.
"Our customers kept calling, asking when we were going to re-open," commented Judy Heller, who observed that the re-opening was important to serving their New England customers, who need a place to shop within convenient driving distance.
Buyers showed their support for the center by turning out in good numbers for a soft opening opening in late July, shortly after the showrooms moved into the building. The Grand Opening show, which had more than 30 temporary exhibitors as well as the showroom tenants, had good traffic with buyers coming in from Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, as well as around Massachusetts, to show support for their reps and shop the showrooms and exhbitors.
