Cleveland, OH – Greeting card vendor American Greetings reported total revenue of $368.8 million, pre-tax income of $25 million, and net income of $14.5 million or 35 cents per share for the second fiscal quarter of fiscal 2012, which ended August 26, Compared to the prior year, revenue increased approximately $26 million, including a pre-tax benefit from the sale of characters in the company’s intellectual property portfolio for $4.5 million (after-tax approximately $2.8 million).Talkback
