60th annual Retailer Excellence Awards laud gift retailers and industry leaders.
At a gala affair in August during the New York International Gift Fair, Gift s & Decorative Accessories brought together people from throughout the gift industry to celebrate the achievements of the finalists of the 60th annual Retailer Excellence Awards competition and applaud as the winners in each category were revealed. But the evening's honors were not for retailers alone. Recognition was bestowed upon other industry leaders during the festive evening that began with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres overlooking the Hudson River at the Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers, followed by dinner and the Awards presentation.
Here's a look at the outstanding retailers who took home 2011 Retailer Excellence Awards, the industry notables who received honors, and a glimpse at some of those who came to share in the celebration.
