Former Lacoste CEO to Head Harry Barker

Charleston, SC – Luxury pet product retailer Harry Barker named Robert C. Siegel as its new chairman. Siegel previously served as Lacoste USA’s chairman and CEO. Under his tenure

Robert C. Siegel, sales increased tenfold and retail stores expanded from 11 to 87. He also served as chairman, president and CEO for the Stride Rite Corporation and developed and launched the Docker’s brand while president of the Levi’s Menswear Division.
Harry Barker founder and president Carol Perkins noted that Siegel was an early investor in Harry Barker, and he has served on the company’s board for several years

Siegel said in a statement, “The category is dynamic, one of the few that is virtually recession-proof. Harry Barker has been a creative leader from day one, and I believe it can soon become a global leader. I look forward to helping make that happen.”
