IHA Seeks Comments on Testing Requirements
GDA Staff -- Gifts and Dec, 10/26/2011 1:44:00 PM
Rosemont, IL - The International Housewares Association is looking for comments from members who would be affected by the Consumer Product Safety Commission's alternative testing requirements for a small batch of manufacturers of children's products. The CPSC is seeking input and information from such manufacturers on whether alternative testing methods are available and what such alternatives would involve. The Commission would also like to hear whether they would seek an exemption from third-party testing because alternatives are not available or, because of economic concerns, are not practical.
IHA will submit written comments on behalf of its members. No company or individual will be identified; information will be reported only as industry averages and aggregates. Comments should be submitted via a questionnaire on IHA's website by 5 p.m. EDT Wednesday, Nov. 2.
We would love your feedback!
