New York - The Bombay Company announced new licensing partnerships with JLA Home, The Zrike Company, StyleCraft Home Collection and MVP Group International. Bombay logo

"Establishing strong licensing partnerships is an integral part of our overall strategy for growth, and help catapult the evolution of our brand," said Wil Hollands, president of Hermes-Otto International USA and owner of The Bombay Company brand. "We sought out industry leaders in key product categories to strengthen and complement our unique designs and sourcing efforts."

JLA Home offers home textiles, color trends and innovations that parallel Bombay's approach to meeting consumer demands for high-end value items, according to a company release. The line of fashion home textiles will include bed linens, bath accessories, window treatment, decorative pillows, throws and rugs.

"Bombay is a recognizable lifestyle brand that has a very loyal following. There has been a void in the marketplace for globally-inspired designs with classic roots since The Bombay Company closed its stores," said Scott Howard, vice president of sales for JLA Home. "We are thrilled to be working closely with the Bombay team on this collaboration."

The Zrike Company, known for its branded and private label tabletop items, will expand its repertoire of quality dinnerware, serveware, stemware and barware labels with the addition of the Bombay-branded collection.

"We are truly excited to work with such a prestigious brand that has great recognition with the consumer," said David Zrike, president of The Zrike Company. "Bombay is a brand that stands for entertaining and means unique tradition and elegance."

StyleCraft Home Collection will help recapture the essence of Bombay with the Bombay Home Furnishings Collection of portable lighting. Established in 1968, the StyleCraft Home Collection will provide affordable, elegant home lighting with the new line of Bombay table and floor lamps, chandeliers, pendants and electric wall sconces.

MVP Group International, a leading manufacturer of candle and home fragrance products, has collaborated with The Bombay Company to create a new line of luxury candles and scented products, including candles in a variety of sizes and shapes, diffusers, potpourri, room sprays, boxed candlescapes and candle accessories. The Bombay Home Fragrance collection will be available at fine retailers nationwide, starting in early 2012.

The Bombay Company will continue developing and maintaining long-term relationships with key retailers to expand their presence across multiple lifestyle categories.

"Bombay is a very special brand and I am not looking to put the brand on as many retail shelves as possible but rather to maintain key long term partnerships with select retail chains within the many different tiers of retail in America today. Bombay has always been special and it is our goal to keep it that way."

Hermes-Otto International will continue to directly design, source and import in their areas of core competency of furniture, décor, wall décor, seasonal and lawn and garden categories.

The Bombay brand is now available at select specialty and mass retailers and online nationwide.
