TIF, MSB Give Bags to Horton's Kids
Playthings Staff -- Gifts and Dec, 11/3/2011 1:07:19 PM
Washington, DC - The Toy Industry Foundation (TIF) and My Stuff Bags Foundation (MSB) joined forces with federal legislators to distribute "My Stuff" duffel bags to 35 children affiliated with Horton's Kids, a non-profit that provides comprehensive services to the children of Washington DC's Ward 8.
The duffels were filled with essential items including patriotic-themed toys, games, stuffed animals, toiletries and handmade blankets. Kids also took part in arts and crafts projects and interacted with members of Congress, representatives of the toy industry and staff of the TIF and MSB Foundations.
The Toy Industry Foundation has provided grant funding of $525,000 and more than 150,000 new toys over three years to My Stuff Bags Foundation.
We would love your feedback!
