Vernon Hills, IL - Educational products manufacturer Learning Resources will be donating products for the Kids In Need National Network of Resource Centers. Kids in Need is a national nonprofit organization that provides free school supplies to students whose families cannot afford to purchase them and to teachers in under-funded schools. The first donation, which will go to the Teacher Resource Center in Chicago, includes more than $7,000 worth of supplies, such as thermometers, magnifiers, pocket charts, rulers and puzzle cards.
"This new partnership is a great way to give back to the Chicago community and support our future leaders," said Rick Woldenberg, chairman and CEO of Learning Resources. "Equipping students with the high-quality tools they need to become successful learners is exactly what we're all about."
