Learning Resources® Launches “Learn Through Play Every Day” Campaign

Learning ResourcesVERNON HILLS, Ill. – For more than 30 years, educational toy company, Learning Resources®, has helped millions of children develop a love of learning and build the educational skills that help them get ready to take on the world.

A recent survey conducted by the brand revealed that parents are more motivated than ever to take an active role in educating their children, with 66-percent of parents considering themselves primarily responsible for their children’s education. In response, Learning Resources is launching a marketing campaign that speaks directly to these active, highly-involved parents. Headlined by the new slogan, “Learning is Where We Play,” the campaign includes elements such as a 30-second TV spot, robust digital advertising and a partnership with the Busby family from the TLC show OutDaughtered. There is also a dedicated page on Learning Resources’ website where parents can find tools, tips and toys than can help their children “Learn Through Play Every Day,” a rallying cry of the brand’s new marketing work.

“Parents are taking the responsibility of educating their children more seriously than ever,” said Learning Resources CMO, Marie LaPlante. “We feel a responsibility to go beyond making the best educational toys by showing parents how to create moments of learning through play every day.”

Parents of the only all-female quintuplets in the country, Danielle and Adam Busby, best known for their appearance on TLC’s hit reality series, OutDaughtered, balance their daily lives while teaching their children through play from a young age.

“We hear from our viewers all the time how important it is for them to foster their children’s education,” said Danielle Busby. “Our children love Learning Resources toys, and I love watching them have ‘aha’ moments and develop a love for learning.”

Busby says she makes it her goal to do at least one thing each day that supports her daughters’ education.  Learning Resources is making it easy for all parents to do the same through a Learning Minutes Calendar, which helps parents easily incorporate a fun, educational activity for just a few minutes every day in order to reverse the summer slide and prepare for back-to-school. Families can earn points toward free toys from Learning Resources by using the calendar through the end of September.
