New Interior Design Resource in ATL

GDA Staff -- Gifts and Dec, 12/13/2011 3:00:48 PM

Atlanta - Home & Design will debut at the upcoming Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market. The new fashion-forward space, located on the 14th floor of Building 1, was created to speak to both the interior design community and specialty retailers while complementing other permanent Home showrooms on floors 9-13.

Home & Design will serve as a bridge between AmericasMart Atlanta and its sister property Atlanta Decorative Arts Center (ADAC). The showrooms here will be open every day and in between markets will host educational seminars and networking events catering to interior designers through the Open Daily Program.

The Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market is scheduled for January 11-18, 2012.

Kidding Around

Kids products that combine high play value and a design sensibility that blends with mom and dad's house are sure winners for specialty shops, who can market themselves as an alternative to cheap plastic imports and their problematic safety records.

EcoGreen

Green products have become more of a staple now. The products are not only good for the environment, today's collections also boast great design.

Just for Fun

Vendors' sense of fun was evident this summer with many offering light-hearted and fun accessories for the home and for the self.
