The Toy Business Forum at Nuremburg to Address Trends and Marketing

A specialist forum will present a study on Toys4Teens

Nuremburg, Germany - The Toy Business Forum will be an important part of the upcoming Spielwarenmesse International Toy Fair Nürnberg, running February 2-6 in Nuremburg Germany. Each day during the fair, from 1-3 p.m., speakers who are experts in their given fields will address special topics, giving insight as to how retailers can more successfully market toys. The breakdown of topics and speakers is as follows:

February 2: International Toy Trends. Key trends moving toys forward will be addressed by Andreas Haderlein from the Zukunftsinstitut, Gabriela Kaiser from Trendagentur and US toy trend specialist Reyne Rice.
February 3: Web 2.0. Network and learn about online marketing trends to encourage sales from journalist Stephan Meixner. PR specialist Kathleen Parma will present 10 strategies on how to use Facebook effectively.
February 4: Toys4Teens. Market researcher Axel Dammler will present the results of a study that reveals the toy and game-related habits of young people. As a particular highlight, 17-year-old Philipp Riederle will talk about his life as a "digital native." He will explain how to understand and make use of the language of his generation.
February 5: Appealing to the Inner Child of Adults. Heinz Lehmann from idee+spiel Hannover will show, by means of an unusual event concept, how quickly adults can become children again. Félix Tena, founder of the Spanish toy chain Imaginarium, will also provide valuable practical tips as to how retailers can skilfully appeal to and also attract both children and adults at the same time.
February 6: The Importance of Good Store Design. In the age of the internet, the look of a store becomes more important in creating the shopping experience to attract shoppers. Claudia Horbert from the EHI Retail Institute will show how important good design is

The Toy Business Forum will take place in the InnovationCenter in Hall 4 of the Nuremberg trade fair centre. The lectures are free of charge in German and English. A detailed overview of all events can be accessed at www.toyfair.de/toybusinessforum.
