Urban Expositions Acquires West Coast Trade Shows From Western Exhibitors

Atlanta - Urban Expositions acquired four West Coast trade shows from Western Exhibitors as part of Urban's continuing western region growth strategy. The four shows are the Portland Gift & Accessories Show, San Francisco Cash & Carry Show, Seattle Cash & Carry Show and Portland Cash & Carry Show. Kelly McLoughlin, long-time manager for all four shows under Western Exhibitors' management, is joining Urban Expositions in the same role.
An annual trade show, the Portland Gift & Accessories Show is scheduled for March 3-5, 2012, at the Oregon Convention Center. It will feature more than 175 companies in 250 booths showcasing a wide array of gifts, unique handmade products, one-of-a-kind vintage merchandise, fashion accessories and more. Effective immediately, Urban Expositions assumes management duties for all four shows and the Western Exhibitors management team will serve in an advisory capacity during the transition process.
The three annual cash and carry shows give retailers an opportunity to fill in their inventory with last minute gifts and collectibles, gourmet food products, fine and fashion jewelry, bath and spa items, aromatherapy and much more for order or immediate delivery. The three shows are scheduled as follows:
• Portland Cash & Carry Show, October 12-14, 2012, Oregon Convention Center
• Seattle Cash & Carry Show, October 19-21, 2012, Washington State Convention Center
• San Francisco Cash & Carry Show, October 26-28, 2012, Concourse Exhibition Hall
