Design Plus Awards Announced

Frankfurt, Germany - Messe Frankfurt announced the winners of the annual Design Plus Award. "The products that bear the Design Plus seal are genuine eye catchers for everything from cooking and dining to simply relaxing and feeling good. The winning products are distinguished by excellent handling, a special feature or innovative technology, and intelligently combine aesthetic quality with functionality," said Nicolette Naumann, vice president of Ambiente.

The winners will be presented with the Design Plus Award at the Ambiente Fair, scheduled for February 10-14. The 22 winning products will be on display during the show in the Galleria, level 1.

This year's winning designs include: 3 Claveles-Bueno Hermanos from Spain, Alessi S.p.A. from Italy, Design Pool Ltd./Native Union from China, H Concept Co. Ltd. from Japan, Ivo Cuteleria Lda. From Portugal, JIA Inc. Ltd. from China, Kai Corporation from Japan, Kamoi Kakoshi Co. LTD. from Japan, Kitchen Planning Co. Ltd. from Japan, Menu A/S from Denmark, MeterMorphosen from Germany, OXO International from the U.S.A., PA Design from France, QDO from Denmark, Rosenthal from Germany, XXD GmbH from Germany, Zeibruder Optoelectronics GmbH & Co. KG from Germany and Zwiesel Kristallglas from Germany.
