Monday Stat: Home Decor in Demand for 2018

monday stat home decor

According to the 2018 Gift Book Consumer Survey, 58 percent of consumers plan to buy decorative pillows, throws and area rugs to decorate their homes in 2018, and 51 percent plan to buy decorative accents. Wall art and lighting trail closely behind at 50 and 45 percent, respectively. Gift stores would be wise to capitalize on the demand for home decor by setting up displays that incorporate each of these types of products into a cozy display, inspiring the customer to purchase more than one item.
