NYIGF, Red Clay Partner  on Design Projects

WHITE PLAINS - The New York International Gift Fair will partner with design collaborative Red Clay to produce a crowd-sourced creation of a NYIGF tote bag that will be distributed at the summer 2013 NYIGF.

Red Clay is now soliciting designs on its web site. A select few will be chosen as finalists and displayed at the Red Clay Concept Showcase at the January market. All market participants will be invited to vote for the winning design. The winner will receive $1,000.

NYIGF has also commissioned Red Clay to create a new design for the Accent on Design award, which has taken different shapes since its inception in 1985.

Red Clay will solicit concepts for the award and the Accent on Design selection committee along with several design leaders will select the winner, who will receive $1,000. The award will be produced for distribution at the winter 2013 NYIGF.
