Koelnmesse Becomes Sustaining Member of Furniture Club - Made in Germany

GDA Staff -- Gifts and Dec, 11/2/2012 3:42:36 PM

COLOGNE, GERMANY - Koelnmesse has committed to Furniture Club - Made in Germany e.V. as a sustaining member. Furniture Club - Made in Germany e.V. is an association, founded in 2009 and relaunched at the imm cologne 2012, which currently has 12 German member companies, whose aim is to use the joint platform to establish and expand international activities. Through its three events, imm cologne, the LivingKitchen and the interzum, Koelnmesse will provide support for the Furniture Club, which will make its first combined debut through Koelnmesse's participation at the Rooms Moscow trade fair in May 2013.

"This young association is pursuing the same aims as we are with our living and interiors trade fairs: in the future, the objective is to turn the sector's export activities into concrete market successes for the companies involved. And our internationally oriented trade fairs are designed to do just that, which is why we are able to jointly exploit synergies," explains Frank Haubold, vice president Trade Fair Management, describing the collaboration. "Here, I would like to mention the Rooms Moscow trade fair in May 2013 as a concrete example, an event that we are currently developing in close collaboration with the Russian organiser Media Globe Krokus. This event is the first opportunity to actively join forces with Furniture Club, with the aim of providing decisive impulses and ideas for tapping into the Russian market."
