Dallas Market Center

The Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, Jan. 16-22, 2013, will introduce more than 100,000 square feet of new resources from hundreds of new exhibitors during the seven-day show.

New showrooms debuting during January Market include: B.B. World, 2-2F212, International Trade Plaza (The Plaza); Border Concepts, 2-2F215, The Plaza; Cutting Edge Industries, 3-3531, Trade Mart (TM); Élan, 3-3519, TM; Focalor, 3-3656.06, TM; InDemand, 1-1101, TM; Iris Cristal, 3-3941, TM; May Arts, 1-1149, TM; MSM 4 Imports, 10-10006, World Trade Center (WTC); Oak Street Wholesale, 1-1F423, The Plaza; Pebblehill Designs, 5-550, WTC; Road Runners, 1-1743, TM; TJ Glassware, 2-2F339, The Plaza - Clear and color hand-blown glassware; and Van Teal, 3-3060, TM.

"We're seeing an upswing in companies eager to bring their products to market in Dallas," said Bill Winsor, president and CEO, Dallas Market Center. "This January buyers will see numerous new and expanded showrooms across campus in addition to an expanded temp show. Exciting new resources and a convenient location in the strongest economic region in the U.S. make Dallas a great place to get business done."

Road Runners

Road Runners will open a new 5,000 sq. ft. showroom at the Dallas Market Center. The new showroom will be located on the first floor of the Dallas Trade Mart in the space formerly occupied by Howard Gardiner. The new showroom will debut during the Total Home & Gift Market in January and feature lines like Peter Pauper, Up with Paper, Gourmet du Village and many others. Construction of the new showroom began this month.

Dynasty Gallery

In celebration of the expansion, the artisan glass art manufacturer, Dynasty Gallery, is hosting a Thank You Party for customers in its new Atlanta showroom in the West Wing (2WW-688B) of the AmericasMart on Friday, Jan. 11, 5:00pm.

Ohio Wholesale

Ohio Wholesale Inc. and sister company Kennedy's Country Collection have expanded their existing World Market Center showroom in Las Vegas by 87 percent. Currently located in Building C, Suite C-924 of the World Market Center, the new showroom will be comprised of Suite C-924 and Suite C-928, which will nearly double the size with 6,224 total square feet. The newly renovated showroom will debut at the Winter 2013 Gift+Home Show January 28th-February 1.

Atlanta: Gourmet & Housewares

Three well known names in cookware—All-Clad, Calphalon and Le Creuse—have new or expanding showrooms on Floor 8 of Building 2 WestWing for the Gourmet & Housewares at the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market, Jan. 9-16, 2013.

All-Clad, a Pennsylvania-based manufacturer of stainless steel and copper-core pots and pans, is moving into a bigger space in the product center. Calphalon, manufacturers of enameled cast-iron pans, will debut its first corporate showroom in Atlanta. Le Creuset, known for its cast iron products, will expand to a 1,400-square-foot showroom.

Roman Inc.

World Market Center has added Roman Inc. as its newest tenant in Building C at Gift+Home at Las Vegas Market. A distributor of more than 8,000 gifts and decorative accessories, Roman Inc.'s 4,082-square foot showroom in Las Vegas will serve as its sole showroom location in the western United States. The Roman Inc. permanent showroom is located in Suite #C854 on the 8th Floor of Building C.

The holiday accessories manufacturer has leased a space on the eighth-floor of building C to showcase Roman, Cottage Garden and Alexa's Angels product. Construction on Roman's new Las Vegas showroom begins this fall and will be completed by December 2012 in time for Roman to host its national sales meeting for its staff and sales force. The company maintains corporate showrooms in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas and Minneapolis and will be closing its Los Angeles showroom in the fall of 2012; the company also maintains a presence in sales rep-owned showrooms in Denver and Seattle.
