Toy State Promotes Will Coleburn

NORWOOD, MA - Toy State has promoted Will Coleburn as president of Toy State marketing in the U.S. and president of global marketing and sales for Toy State International. Coleburn was formerly the senior vice president of marketing and product development for Toy State International, where he has worked for the company for more than four years.

Prior to Toy State, Coleburn was CEO at Kid Galaxy, where he helped lead the turnaround of the specialty toy maker. Prior to Kid Galaxy, he was CEO of AllinPlay, an Internet start-up developing interactive online games for the vision impaired. He has also held the top marketing and product positions at Wright's, textile crafts makers and Grumbacher, a U.S. manufacturer of fine art materials. He started his career at Parker Brothers games where he led the Family Games group, including Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit, Clue, Sorry and Risk. He holds a BA from Ohio Wesleyan University and an MBA from Boston College.

"Toy State has seen significant growth within the U.S. and Asia, and expectations for Europe are high in 2013," said Simon Cheng, chairperson, Toy State International. "In addition to fortifying our marketing team to create a broader reach across the globe, we are increasing production capacity to ensure continued attention to quality and design as well as to meet the needs of our growing world-wide market."

Toy State International is also investing in new production facilities and looking to expand its portfolio with new partners. Its current brand portfolio includes Road Rippers, Gear Heads, DUB Garage, Cat and 007.
