ART Awards Winners Named

DALLAS-Members of the home furnishing and decor manufacturing, design, retail and related industries gathered at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas for the presentation of the 24th annual ARTs Awards by the Dallas Market Center and the Accessories Resource Team (ART). Bill Winsor, CEO of Dallas Market Center, and Sharon Davis, executive director of ART, welcomed the large crowd to the black tie affair.

The Academy of Achievement Lifetime Achievement Award went to Uttermost and the Cooper family. Four daughters of the third generation of the family introduced the award.

New this year, the Visionary Award was presented to Dwell with Design, an organization that makes a house a home for those in need. Dwell with Dignity is a non-profit group of interior designers and volunteers dedicated to creating soothing, inspiring homes for families struggling with homelessness and poverty. With donations of furnishings and home decor from industry vendors, the Dwell with Design designers create well designed, comfortable and attractive environments.
