SURTEX Announces Conference Program

WHITE PLAINS, NY—Ten sessions for the design community will be offered at the May SURTEX show, scheduled for May 19-21.
The Conference Program, under the title Art & Design Profit Perspectives: Design Business Intelligence for Manufacturers, Artists, Designers and Retailers, will offer multi-disciplinary sessions.
The first sessions start on Sunday, May 19, with topics organized to cover the basics for monetizing art and design, whether through licensing or selling designs outright.
On the second day, Monday, May 20, there will be a legal session about design protection and three industry-specific Category Spotlights imparting the specifics required to do business required to do business within the various product categories.
Day three, Tuesday, May 21, will feature two sessions focused on business trends aimed to enhance the bottom line-from a retail perspective and from the designer's point of view.
