The California Market Center (CMC), Los Angeles, named Jim Nahin as the new leasing director. Nahin will handle all leasing inquiries as well as develop new areas of product focus to lease space. Prior to working for CMC, Nahin worked as the western U.S. sales manager for Pindar Systems Inc., a vendor of marketing solutions for retail, catalog, and direct marketing organizations. He brings with him over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing for the retail sector.

The Rosen Group, Baltimore, producer of the Buyers Market of American Craft, appointed Hope Daniels vice president. Daniels maintains her position as editor of American Style and NICHE magazines, in addition to her responsibilities as vice president. She came to the Rosen Group from Downey Communications where she was the editor of Military Lifestyle.

Dale Williams was named president of Waverly Lifestyle Group, New York. Williams heads all aspects of the Group including creative development, finance, sales, marketing, and licensing. Most recently, Williams served as senior vice president, global sourcing and international marketing, at Springs Industries.

Merchandise Mart Properties Inc., Chicago, appointed Paul C. Watson vice president and assistant general manager of the LA Mart, Los Angeles. Watson oversees the marketing, operations and accounting departments. Watson, a ten-year veteran of the LA Mart, returns after a stint developing a design center in Naples, Florida.

The San Francisco Music Box Company, Walnut Creek, CA, was joined by Curt Gray as president and CEO. Gray comes to the company from Dean & Deluca, where he was COO. He also served as vice president of operations for the Barnes & Noble superstore division, where he solicited and managed the implementation of Starbucks as Barnes & Noble's coffee partner.

George Little Management promoted Gracelyn Monaco to assistant show manager for the New York Home Textiles Show. Monaco previously served as the event's show coordinator.
