A GUND bear, circa 1948, will grace a United States Postal Service 37-cent stamp to be issued August 15, 2002. This year marks the 100th anniversary of Teddy Roosevelt's "bear."

The Paris Maison & Objet home decor show changed the dates of its winter 2003 session to run from Friday, January 24 through Tuesday, January 28.

Watkins, the Winona, MN, company started by J.R. Watkins, who began selling homemade remedies door-to-door 133 years ago, will wholesale its personal care line of products through gift trade shows, beginning with Atlanta in July.

Artist Warren Kimble received the 2002 George Arents Pioneer Medal for outstanding accomplishment from Syracuse University. Kimble is a 1957 Syracuse U. graduate.

Mary Engelbreit Studios and Sakura, a division of Oneida, signed a three-year contract to collaborate on tableware for distribution beginning in 2003.

American Capital Strategies invested $19.5 million in Stravina Operating Company, a designer and supplier of impulse-purchase novelty and souvenir items for the mass market.
