Illuminations Sells Two Divisions

Sun Valley, CA — Illuminations, the specialty candle retailer, sold its Starlight and Illume wholesale and manufacturing divisions to a management group. The new company, Starlight and Illume Inc., will continue to market its products under the brand names Starlight Candles and Illume Candles, and will maintain operations in Bloomington, MN, and Sun Valley, CA, respectively. John Norton is chief executive of the new entity, Cory Van Buskirk is president, Scott Leoncini is senior vice president of sales and marketing, and Kevin Knepper is chief financial officer. All four executives served with Illuminations before the buyout.
