Whereoware Debuts Catalog Live!

McLean, VA — Whereoware introduced a new online catalog concept that provides daily communication capabilities, instant promotion of new product introductions, 24-hour ordering, and immediate out-of-stock removal. Retailers will be able to download a supplier catalog onto their desktop computer — from a CD-ROM or the Whereoware Web site — and peruse the catalog without being connected to the Internet. Orders are saved in a file until the retailer connects to the Internet, when the orders are automatically transmitted to the supplier. As the supplier receives orders, inventory updates, new products, price changes, and special promotions are automatically transmitted back to the retailer's Catalog Live! connection. Whereoware will hold Catalog Live! demonstrations at summer shows in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York.
