Encore Signs Wyland

San Diego — Wyland, the marine artist whose 89 Whaling Wall murals are found in cities around the world, licensed The Encore Group to produce a collection of gifts and home decor items scheduled to debut at the summer markets. The Wyland Collection includes more than 100 products and spans four of the six Encore Group divisions. There are animal sculptures from Living Stone, ceramic mugs and specialty gifts from Xpres, beeswax candles from Knorr Candle Factory, and pewter sculptures and decorative accents from Rawcliffe. Subjects include whales, dolphins, and other marine life. Wyland painted his first Whaling Wall in Laguna Beach, California, in 1981, and declared his intention to eventually paint 100 wall murals of marine life to call attention to the beauty of the undersea world.
