Lam Lee Garners ARTS Award

Dallas — The 14th annual ARTS Awards will present Lam Lee of The Lam Lee Group with the Accessories Resource Team Academy of Achievement Award. The award honors an individual in the home decorative accessories industry for entrepreneurial spirit and contributions to the industry. A native of Shanghai, Lee established Oriental Lacquer Furniture Inc. in the U.S. in 1981. A wider range of home products was added to the company's lineup over the years, and the name was changed to The Lam Lee Group in mid-1990s. "Lam Lee personifies the spirit of this award," said Lori Kurschner Eddleman, senior vice president of marketing for the Dallas Market Center (DMC). "His business success paired with his creative inspiration make Lam a treasured asset to the industry." Lee will be presented with his award at the 14th ARTS Awards gala, Saturday, January 18, 2003, at the DMC.
