Weiglin, Menefee Form Trade Show Partnership

Jon Weiglin and Christopher Menefee formed a trade show management and sales team, Menefee + Weiglin Associates, and signed on with Mahone Associates to market that company's Charlotte, NC, and Charleston, SC, gift shows. "Menefee + Weiglin has already begun developing some exciting plans for our shows that we know will prove significant in coming months to both exhibitors and retailers in the gift, accessories, and jewelry industries," said Earl Mahone Jr., president of the 50-year-old family business Mahone Associates. Menefee + Weiglin Associates, based in Atlanta, is also implementing plans for new shows in other cities, under the Mahone name. Jon Weiglin was recently president of the L.A. Mart. Following its sale to MMPI/Vornado, he served as a consultant to the trade show industry. Chris Menefee recently worked in leasing at the Dallas Market Center and the California Market Center. Both men are AmericasMart Atlanta veterans.
