Former Christopher Radko communications director Kyle Hall joined the Grand Rapids, MI-based Professional Marketing public relations and marketing team. Hall's work experience also includes Fitz and Floyd.

Home decor company CBK Ltd. expanded its Chicago Merchandise Mart 15th-floor showroom by 2,000 square feet to a total of 5,000 square feet.

Oriental Accents Inc. signed a licensing deal with Susan Sargent to produce an 80-piece line of decorative accessories, which debuted at the October High Point market.

The Van Group opened a second showroom in the Dallas World Trade Center to showcase Blue Sky and Snapdragon products. The original showroom will continue to carry Character Collectibles and Vanmark lines.

The Buyers Market of American Craft reports that its July market in Philadelphia posted sales of $9.4 million, the same level as July 2001 sales. Average exhibitor sales dropped slightly to $11,702.

Two's Company committed to the L.A. Mart by doubling its showroom space to 6,000 square feet. The new space will debut at the January 2003 market.

The new George Little Management show, Sources, will benefit from efforts by sales agents in 12 overseas countries hired by GLM to handle exhibitor interest. Sources, a volume-based trade show for non-US manufacturers and exporters, debuts in May 2003, in New York.

Marshall Field's will market exclusive holiday and Valentine's Day merchandise designed by British collage artist Sarah Lugg. Lugg creates "visual diaries" from objects such as dried flowers and shells.

Specialty retailer CBR Inc., St. Paul, MN, opened a new gift shop concept, called "toto" at Pittsburgh's airport. Toto carries an array of goods for the home, including lamps, vases, frames, candles, and personal care items.
