Housewares Show Goes Gourmet

Rosemont, IL — The 2004 International Housewares Show will add a new category focusing on gourmet food and food preparation products, in a section to be called GOHO, the Gourmet Home District. According to Phil Brandl, president of the International Housewares Association, which sponsors the show, the new section will showcase food prep demonstrations, celebrity chefs, entertainment, and store setting presentations of gourmet food items. GOHO will be located in the South Building of Chicago's McCormick Place, next to the cookware and bakeware category. The 2004 show takes place March 20–22.
