Irish, AmericasMart Sign Lease

Atlanta — The Irish Trade & Technology Board, Enterprise Ireland, signed a long-term showroom lease with AmericasMart Atlanta, making the southern city its exclusive U.S. trade mart site. The 2,096-square-foot showroom, located on floor 9 of the AmericasMart 2 building, opens for business in time for the January 2003 gift and home furnishings market. It will showcase gift, collectible, and tabletop product from ten Irish manufacturers. "The AmericasMart and Enterprise Ireland relationship is a partnership of equals," said Michael McNicholas, senior v.p., consumer products, Enterprise Ireland. "Our shared vision — that of AmericasMart becoming the one true global marketplace — led us here."
