NABCO Opts Out of Toy Fair

Chicago — The North American Bear Company (NABCO) will not exhibit at the annual American International Toy Fair at New York's Javits Convention Center in February 2003. Instead, the company will open its New York Design Studio to buyers and retailers, February 13–19, coinciding with Toy Fair and the Toy District Showroom Preview Days. "We feel our location — only two-and-a-half blocks south of the Toy Building — is an exciting and convenient alternative to our usual Javits Center booth," said Wayne Ballard, NABCO vice president of sales. "Our studio showroom will enable customers to view our line under the best possible conditions, and do so in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere." NABCO's New York showroom is located at 902 Broadway, 20th floor.
