McLean, VA — Whereoware, the Web-based technology and marketing provider for the gift and home industry, formed a partnership with the American Foundation for AIDS Research (amfAR) to raise funds through charitable auction events on eBay. Whereoware will create "About Me" pages providing information about amfAR and Gift for Life (the industry's volunteer group that raises funds for amfAR), which will give both organizations a presence on eBay's community charity pages. Whereoware will also manage and handle fulfillment of amfAR's auctions on eBay. "We are pleased to be able to take advantage of this … opportunity by bringing together amfAR and eBay, with which we have worked closely on other initiatives," said Whereoware CEO Ben Johns.
