AFMA Elects 2003 Officers

High Point, NC — Members of the American Furniture Manufacturers Association (AFMA) elected Steven M. Kincaid, president of Kincaid Furniture, Hudson, NC, president of the association at its annual meeting. Robert Spilman, president and chief executive of Basset Furniture Industries, Basset, VA, was elected first vice president; and Rob Sligh, chairman and chief executive of Sligh Furniture, Holland, MI, was selected second v.p. Farooq Kathwari, chairman, president, and chief executive of Ethan Allen, Danbury, CT, will take up the chairmanship of the AFMA board.
