Leroy Brownlow
Fort Worth, TX — Leroy Brownlow, co-founder of Brownlow Publishing Co., died November 8, 2002, after a lengthy illness. He was 88. Brownlow, a minister, wrote many inspirational gift books. In 1974, he and his son Paul founded the publishing company, which is now known as Brownlow Gift. Leroy Brownlow is survived by son Paul and grandsons Andrew and John Paul, all of whom are active in the family business.
Maria Ascoli
Pennington, NJ — Gift and collectible industry veteran Maria Ascoli, 53, passed away on October 16, 2002. Ascoli served in the sales field with such companies as Schmid, Disney, and Papel. Most recently, she was regional director of field sales for the eastern region for Goebel of North America. Maria Ascoli is survived by her brother, Robert.
