Enesco Group Inc., Itasca, IL, appointed Jeffrey Lemajeur vice president of finance, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions. Lemajeur had been Enesco's CFO, and he is replaced in that position by Thomas F. Bradley.

Blyth Inc., Greenwich, CT, placed its Wax Lyrical unit of 35 candle stores in the United Kingdom into administrative receivership, the equivalent of a U.S. Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing. The company cited increased competition from major retail chains and others for Wax Lyrical's inability to generate a profit.

Portal Publications, Novato, CA, a subsidiary of DBG Holdings, sold its Australian distribution company, Portal Aird Limited Pty., to a group led by the Aird family. Portal Aird will remain the exclusive distributor of Portal calendars and greeting cards in Australia.

CBK Ltd., Union City, TN, appointed Terry M. Stewart national vice president of sales. He will head up all sales, including a new sales training program. CBK has retained The Wilson Learning Company to train its sales team.

Trade show organizer Messe Frankfurt is offering exhibitors and visitors to its many shows, including Ambiente and Tendence, combination tickets that provide entry to the events and free rides on local trains (S-Bahn), subways (U-Bahn), and trams. Call (770) 984-8016.

Flambro Imports, Atlanta, appointed J. Douglas, Atlanta, to rep its home accent lines in GA, NC, SC, FL, AL, MS, TN, and KY. California Marketing Associates of the California Market Center, Los Angeles, will rep Flambro Imports in CA, AZ, NV, and HI.

Juvenile gift and accessories manufacturer Mango Designs, Palo Alto, CA, appointed three new sales rep firms. Firestone Associates, California Market Center, Los Angeles, reps in CA, NV, AZ, and HI. Paul Blair and Associates, Bedford, MA, represents in MA, CT, RI, ME, VT, and NH; and Keith Smith Ltd. of the Dallas Market Center reps in TX, OK, LA, AR, MS, and NM.
