GLM to Launch H'wares Sections

White Plains, NY — George Little Management (GLM) will launch "Tabletop and Housewares" divisions in the January 2004 editions of their gift shows in Atlanta, Los Angeles, and New York. The sections will feature tabletop, cutlery, servingware, cookware, bakeware, gadgets, and kitchen textiles. Research undertaken by GLM indicates that manufacturers and retailers are in favor of a housewares event in January. "This solution is a win-win for the industry," said GLM president George F. (Jeff) Little. "It addresses a clear need for an early winter housewares market without creating a new stand-alone show." Tabletop and Housewares divisions will be featured at The Gift Fair in Atlanta, the California Gift Show, and the New York International Gift Fair.
