Greenwich, CT — Blyth Inc. will buy Miles Kimball Co., Oshkosh, WI, a direct marketer of giftware, home decor, and holiday cards, for $65 million in cash. The company mails 55 million catalogs a year, and reported 2002 sales of approximately $120 million. Blyth also owns Colonial Candle of Cape Cod, Seasons of Cannon Falls, and CBK Styles, among others. Miles Kimball Co. was founded in 1934 by Miles and Alberta Kimball.
