Expo Expands Consumer Hours

Rosemont, IL — The International Gift & Collectible Expo (IGCE), June 27-29, expanded the hours it will allow exhibitors to sell directly to consumers. The retailer-only hours will be Friday, June 27, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Consumers roll in beginning at 3 p.m. Friday, and can continue to shop all day Saturday and Sunday. Exhibitors will pay a 10 percent commission on all at-show sales to the IGCE, and will have to report their sales to the Illinois state sales tax division. During the same dates, the show's organizer, Krause Publications, will present three other events at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. They are the Windy City Antique Show, SportsFest, and MidAmerica Coin Expo. All shows will be presented under the banner "The Collectors Expo/Chicago."
