The National Stationery Show manager, Lori Robinson, has been promoted to vice president at George Little Management (GLM). Robinson is also responsible for The Supply Side show. Separately, GLM named Rita Malek show manager for the Surtex and Surtex Gallery shows.
The world's largest publicly held greeting card company, American Greetings, appointed Zev Weiss CEO, and his brother, Jeffrey Weiss, president and COO. Their father, Morry Weiss, will remain chairman of the company.
Mara-Mi, a Minneapolis-based creator and distributor of stationery and gift products, acquired World of Journals, a designer and manufacturer of guest books, photo albums, and journals.

The Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA) acquired the rights to the Association of Independent Specialty Stores' annual fall Juvenile Expo and will fold the expo into the International JPMA Show, beginning with the May 2003 edition in Dallas.
Licensing company Art Impressions, Canoga Park, CA, appointed Gwilym McGrew president. Most recently, McGrew served as senior vice president of retail business development and product development for Warner Bros. Consumer Products.
