Frisco Music Box Goes Chap. 11

Walnut Creek, CA — The San Francisco Music Box Company filed a voluntary bankruptcy petition under the provisions of Chapter 11, Title 11 of the United States Code. The company also filed a motion requesting joint administration of the Chapter 11 cases of its affiliated entities, SFMB Acquisition Corp. and the Museum Company Inc. Among the 20 largest unsecured creditors of the San Francisco Music Box Co. are Reuge Music, Foot Locker, Blue Sky, Country Artists Ltd., Roman, VanMark, NYCO Intl., and Enesco. Kier Group Holdings LLC, New York, purchased the San Francisco Music Box Co. from Foot Locker in 2001.
