Only in New York — A Night on Broadway. Tuesday, August 12. 8 p.m. curtain. Gypsy at the Schubert Theatre. $75. Limited seating, payment must accompany reservation.

Gifts & Decorative Accessories Retailer Excellence Awards. Sunday, August 10. 7 p.m. The Plaza hotel. An elegant evening honors 2002's innovative retailers in store design, promotion, and visual merchandising and the 2003 Industry Achievement Award winner, Russ Berrie.
