Second Nature Design added Frank Colapinto to its management team as executive vice president of sales and marketing. He will work with key national accounts and assist founder and owner Don Thomas with product development and the acquisition of additional lines within the gift industry. Colapinto was formerly with Cast Art Industries.

Oregon Scientific, Tualatin, OR, named David W. Huffman vice president of product marketing North America. Huffman is responsible for overseeing the marketing department activities and personnel, and will report directly to the president, Jim Boyle. Huffman has responsibility for the U.S. and Canada region. Huffman joins the company from SONICblue Inc. where he was vice president, audio products.

Laura Minchew joined Integrity Publishers, a Christian book-publishing firm based in Brentwood, TN, as head of a new imprint geared toward families and children. Minchew was previously the senior vice president and publisher of Tommy Nelson, the children's division of Thomas Nelson Inc.

Brian Eady was named vice president of marketing and product development for Villeroy & Boch Tableware, Princeton, NJ. Eady is responsible for growing new categories of dinnerware and crystal, as well as gift accessories. He also oversees advertising, public relations, promotions and other marketing functions for all divisions. Eady joins Villeroy & Boch from the Pfaltzgraff Co.

Janet Stieve joined the Dallas Museum of Art as general manager of the Museum Store. Stieve previously was a fashion accessory buyer, and went through the Neiman Marcus executive training program.

Staedtler Inc., Chatsworth, CA, name Christopher Sestilio key accounts sales manager in the educational marketplace. He will be based in Staedtler's New Jersey field office, and will report directly to national sales manager Vince Donofrio. Sestilio previously was director of marketing and sales for United Products & Services.

Cheryl Lesser was appointed national sales manager for Malden International Designs, a manufacturer and importer of photo frames and home decor. Lesser brings 14 years of experience in the photo frame industry to this position.

Crystal Gifts And More Inc., Downers Grove, IL, named the following organizations to rep Asfour Crystal: Paragon Peddlers covers Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah; Busch & Slates has Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska; Babich & Company covers northern California and northern Nevada; and The PM Group has southern California and southern Nevada. Seward Associates reps New England; Palmer & Associates covers Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Iowa; The Weikels has Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, and North and South Carolina. Don McKrell & Associates covers Ohio, and Bob Dose Sales & Associates is responsible for Arizona. Retail Sales East reps in New York, New Jersey, Washington, DC, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia. Heart-Felt Products covers Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, and New Mexico, and Market Place Gifts has Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, and North and South Dakota.

Carpentree Inc., Tulsa, OK, manufacturer of inspirational framed art and home decor, added two new sales firms to represent its lines. CMA (California Marketing Associates) will cover the lower West Coast and Hawaii. Simpson Marketing will cover Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
