DMC Launches Travel Service
By Staff -- Gifts & Decorative Accessories, 7/1/2003
Dallas — The Dallas Market Center (DMC) launched an in-house travel services division, MarketTravel, to replace those formerly provided by an outside agency. MarketTravel will offer services from discount airline tickets to hotel accommodations and car rentals. "Our goal is to work closely with our customers to save them money and provide the most efficient travel services to Dallas," said Bill Winsor, president and chief executive of DMC. To celebrate MarketTravel's launch, DMC will give away trips to the January 2004 Supermarket. To qualify, buyers must register for hotel accommodations for that market — at www.dallasmarketcenter.com, by calling (800) DAL-MKTS, or in person at the World Trade Center travel desk — between June 18 and September 1. Following a drawing, three winners will receive three nights' hotel accommodations at the Wyndham Anatole, and round trip airline reservations for two.
