Supplier of home decorative trims, D'Kei Inc., Council Bluffs, IA, was handed over to the next generation as founders Denise and Keith Axtell sold their company to Kristin Axtell Norville and Peter Norville.

Quilts by Donna Inc. started construction on a 30,000-square-foot office and warehouse facility in Shepherdsville, KY.

Greenbrier Basket Co., Wichita, KS, signed Darrah & Co., Atlanta, to rep the basket company in the Southeast. Greenbrier will have space in the Darrah showroom in the Atlanta Gift Mart.

Country American artist Jennifer Lambein signed a rep agreement with Porterfield's Fine Art Licensing.

Leveraged buyout firm Forstman Little sold 12.5 million shares of Yankee Candle for $125 million, reducing its stake in the company to 20 percent. The sale represented a fivefold gain on Forstman's initial investment.

Gift and home decor wholesaler Blossom Bucket Inc., North Lawrence, OH, broke ground on a new warehouse, and plans to build new offices and a showroom by the end of the year.

AMC Inc., Atlanta, donated funds to line the soccer field of the Liga de Futbol de Atlanta for one year. The Liga organizes intramural soccer for more than 500 underprivileged Hispanic children.

Designer Kate Spade licensed her signature designs to Scalamandre for high-end fabrics, Lenox for transitional and casual china lines, and Springs Industries for bed and bath linens.

George Little Management appointed Pamela Fink media supervisor for the National Stationery Show, The Supply Side, and the International New Age Trade Show. She will be responsible for conceptualizing and implementing media relations strategies.

Jona-Marie Price was appointed CEO of Lassen Holdings Co., handling the artwork of Christian Riese Lassen.
