Calendar Club Buys Music Box Co.

Austin, TX — Calendar Club LLC acquired the intellectual property, inventory, e-commerce Web site, and three retail stores from the San Francisco Music Box Company (SFMB), which recently filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Calendar Club, a division of Barnes & Noble, will continue the retail operations of SFMB (including temporary locations and Web site), as well as the company's wholesale business. Established in 1993, Calendar Club also operates Christmas Corner stores in 100 locations and Go! The Game Store in 200 seasonal locations, and operates www.calendars.com.
