DMC Celebrates FashionCenterDallas

Staff -- Gifts & Decorative Accessories, 8/1/2003

With enough panache to rival Paris and New York, fashion made a splash in Dallas during the June Super Market Week, when the Dallas Market Center (DMC) kicked off publicity for its new one million-square-foot FashionCenterDallas. The ceremonies began with a runway fashion show in the atrium of the World Trade Center. Afterward, guests were escorted to the 15th floor for the official "ground breaking." The new fashion showrooms are being constructed on the 14th and 15th floors for women's apparel, with space on the 13th floor for accessories. Men's apparel showrooms will move to the 7th floor, and children's apparel will be located on the 8th floor. FashionCenterDallas is slated to open in March 2004.
