Waterford, et al, Return to Spring Fair

Birmingham, England — Royal Doulton, Royal Worcester, Spode, and Waterford Wedgwood will return with their major brands to Spring Fair Birmingham beginning with the February 2004 show. Waterford Wedgwood left Spring Fair in 1983, and subsequently opened a Stoke-On-Trent show with Royal Doulton, Royal Worcester, and Spode. "This is fantastic news for the Spring Fair Birmingham and for our industry in general," said David Metcalfe, Spring Fair's managing director. "It will really help us to attract major overseas buyers as well as those from the U.K." Among other brands that will return to the Fair are Johnson Brothers, Mason, Coalport, Rosenthal, Hutschenreuther, Waterford Crystal, Minton, and Royal Albert.
