Fall Into the Holidays

Lively displays will help make your store a shopping destination during the upcoming season.

October is an excellent time to offer customers inspiration for holiday giving and seasonal decorating. It also provides a golden opportunity for you to try new display ideas in your store. But this is not the time to skimp on effort or money when it comes to visual merchandising strategies. Start by putting display items in a focal area of your store, not just to highlight the merchandise but to establish the look, feel, and image you want to convey to patrons. If you carry a wide variety of product, avoid a sense of clutter by "carving out" visual merchandising areas that are simple and clean and that showcase a few special items. Here are some unique design ideas seen in store windows around the country.
